Eric's Biography
I am a High School Junior in Irvine, CA. My courses this year include AP Calculus AB/BC, AP US History, AP Computer Science, and AP Physics C Mechanics. This is my second year in rocketry and I have an interest in aerospace. On this team, I was the main constructor of the avionics bay. In my free time, I enjoy playing chess and board games with friends.
Personal Input
I was introduced to rocketry by chance, and as an enthusiast for math and science, I was quickly drawn to this unique and amazing subject. Student Launch is definitely a life changing project for me - I can apply my knowledge learned in school in real life situation and experience what it is like to be a scientists. I didn't know much about rocketry when i first entered the team and was afraid to ask questions and express my idea. Through Student Launch, I gradually learned how to speak up and deliberate my thoughts. Mr. and Mrs. Koepke helped me a lot in the construction of the avionics bay and I learned a lot from it. Student Launch really stirred up my interest in rocketry and I have set my sights on becoming an aerospace engineer.
